Don't do life alone, let's do life together!  

Beyond our Sunday services, being part of a "growth group" provides opportunities which are not available in Sunday meetings. They are small groups, often meeting in homes that provide a relaxed, informal environment for making friends and getting to know God and other people better.

There is time to study the Bible and life issues in greater depth and everyone can contribute if they want to. This means that the whole group can benefit from the perspectives, experience and knowledge of others.

If you prefer a physical book then check out these resources.  

Or simply try the "three bookmarks" system. Put one bookmark in the New Testament, one in the Psalms, and one elsewhere in the Old Testament. Each day as you read, you advance one, two or three of the bookmarks, depending on what you're reading and where you're at in life that day.

The Ministry Team is never just the paid staff. We believe that Jesus has given every Christian the gifts and opportunities to serve (minister) to their fellow Christians and to the community around them. We see this happening week-in and week-out as people express love to one another, pray for one-another, serve, provide, train and teach.  We are a church where everyone is a part of the ministry team. It’s the family business.  

We encourage everyone to join a team to serve as together we seek to make and mature disciples of Jesus.  

Our teams are organised and arranged under our purposes, Glorify, Connect, Grow, Serve, and Share.

  Do you need to practise your English?  Enjoy English practice, and learn about life in Australia.   

Our friendly ESL (English as a Second Language) classes are held in the St Martins Killara Parish Hall and youth centre behind the church at 10am to noon on Thursdays and Fridays during State school terms.  

English is taught in a friendly relaxed atmosphere with trained teachers.  Conversation is encouraged and practical lessons are taught such as visiting the doctor or speaking to the teacher at your child's school.

If you need prayer, solace or practical help in a time of crisis or need please contact the office.

Care is central to our community life. We are visit the sick, support those struggling in life or going through a difficulty time, and provide meals as needed.  We conduct funerals and memorial services.  We welcome newcomers to Australia through our ESL ministry.
